On 21th October, the second international investment forum was held in Nankai University. This forum was organized by Chinese Economic Association and jointly undertaken by Nankai University research center of multi-national corporation, the institute of international economics, the department of international trade and economics and Tianjin Foreign Studies University. Deputy principal Tong Jiadong and deputy secretary-general of China Society of World Economics (CSWE) Shao Binhong attended the forum and gave conference address.

With “Transnational investment and development: policy and institutional innovation” as the theme, this forum attracts representatives from ministry of commerce, state administration of foreign exchange, specialists and scholars from various prestigious universities and entrepreneurs. The forum carried out heated discussion about issues such as “transnational investment and development about China’s FDI: global perspective and policy”, “transnational investment and development: China’s practice”, “transnational investment and development of Chinese enterprises: institutions and strategies”, “transnational investment and development of Chinese enterprises: theoretical analysis” etc.

This forum totally received more than 50 papers in either Chinese or English version. In the end, 34 high quality papers were chosen out after experts’ stringent review and evaluation.
