On October 21st, host by China Society of World Economics and undertaken by Center for Transnationals’ studies of Nankai University, Nankai Institute of International Economics, Nankai Departments of International Economics and Trade and Tianjin Foreign Studies University, The 2nd international investment forum was held in Nankai University. Professor Tong Jiadong, the Vice-President of Nankai University, and Shao Binhong, the Secretary-General of China Society of World Economics, attended and addressed the forum.

The forum was themed with “Cross-border Investment and Development: Innovation in Policy and System”. Experts and scholars from the Ministry of Commerce, State Administration of Foreign Exchange and prestigious universities and representatives from corporate circles attended the forum, and they had a heated discussion on “Cross-border Investment and Development of China’s foreign direct investment: Global Perspective and Policy”, “Cross-border Investment and Development: China’s Practice”, “Cross-border Investment and Development of China’s Corporations: Regulations and Strategies”, “Cross-border Investment and Development of China’s Corporations: Theoretical Analysis” and so on.

More than 50 papers were received for the forum, and 34 papers of high quality were finally selected after experts’ strict evaluation.
