On March 28, 2019, the "One Belt One Road: New Concepts and New Practices" and the "One Belt One Road" Construction and Development Report (2019) seminar co-sponsored by the CITIC Reform and Development Research Foundation and the "One Belt One Road" Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences was held in Beijing. Mr. Dan Kong, Chairman of the CITIC Reform and Development Research Foundation, Li Yongquan, Director of the “One Belt One Road” Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Jihui Cai, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Social Science Literature Publishing House, delivered speeches respectively.

The Blue Book is jointly compiled by the “One Belt One Road” Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the CITIC Reform and Development Research Foundation, and the Eurasian Institute of Advanced Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. It consists of general reports, sub-reports, international cooperation articles, domestic regional articles, and special topics, a total of 25 reports.

Prof Bin Sheng, Yangtze Scholar Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education and Dean of the School of Economics of Nankai University, attended the meeting and gave a speech on "The Achievements, Problems and Countermeasures of China's Investment Cooperation with the One Belt One Road Initiative".
