In preparation for the “China-Africa economic cooperation and development forum” in Beijing Sep, 2018, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has held the “China-Africa economic cooperation zones ‘results and experiences’ seminar” in Cairo, Egypt from Apr 17-18, 2018.
Prof. Shunqi Ge, the deputy director of Center for Transactional Studies of Nankai University and director of NKIIE, was invited to the seminar. Prof. Ge has addressed the seminar on the topic of “Development Zone and Sustainable Growth of FDI”.
Prof.Shunqi Ge and Counselor Bo Song at the Ministry of Education of China in Egypt, has carried out in-depth communication on enhancing cooperation in education and training professionals and senior managers. With representative of Suze Canal University, Prof. Ge had valuable exchanges on joint establishing the Open Economy Development Institute by Nankai University and Suze Canal University. This is the continued promotion of intent on cooperation in education between Nankai University and Suze Canal University. The principle of Suze Canal University and former prime minister of Egypt, Sharaf and Prof. Guoming Xian have firstly discussed this cooperation, during Prof. Xian’s visiting to Egypt in Feb 2018. The Center for Transactional Studies of Nankai University and NKIIE will take the Egypt experience as the breakthrough to further explore new modes of International cooperation.
