On Sep. 8th, 2016, the 19th International Fair for Investment and Trade was held in Xiamen. This is the largest domestic conference focusing on international investment and trade development, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce.
In the afternoon of Sep. 8th, a press conference of "Chinese Version" was held. Director Qiongwen Wang of Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Bureau, Dr. Xiaoning Zhan, Director of UNCTAD Investment and Enterprise Development Department, and Professor Shunqi Ge of the Institute of International Economics delivered speeches and introduced the main content and characteristics of this year's investment report.
2016 World Investment Report, compiled by the United Nations Trade and Development Organization. The Chinese version was translated by Nankai University Institute of International Economics and the Center for Transnationals’ Studies, and published by Nankai University Press. This is also the 19th World Investment Report that is translated by the Center for Transnationals’ Studies since 1998.
