From April 15th to 16th, 2017, the 6th International Investment Forum of the China World Economic Association was successfully held on the new campus of Henan University of Economics and Law. This forum was hosted by the China World Economic Association and the Research Center for Transnationals’ Studies, and undertaken by the Applied Economics Discipline Group of Henan University of Economics and Law. More than 130 experts and scholars from more than 40 universities including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Development Research Center of the State Council, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Renmin University of China, Nankai University and Xiamen University attended the event.

With the theme of "International Investment Governance System and China's Two-way Investment Upgrade Strategy", this forum is divided into six sub-forums, covering topics as "International Investment and Global Economic Governance", "Multinational Corporations' Investment and Policies in China", and "Chinese Enterprises Foreign Direct Investment and Cross-border M&A", "Free Trade Zone Innovation and Investment Opening", "One Belt One Road and Regional Economic Cooperation", "Reverse Globalization and World Economic Growth", "Sustainable Growth of International Trade", and "Technological Innovation and Competitiveness of Multinational Companies."

At the meeting, more than 20 experts and scholars gave wonderful speeches on the above main topics. Professor Guoming Xian, Professor Dianchun Jiang, Professor Bin Sheng, Professor Shunqi Ge, Professor Ronglin Li, Professor Jianguo Chen, Professor Cheng Zhang, Associate Professor Bing Yan and some phd students attended the conference and presented their papers at the conference.
