On September 9, 2020, the "International Investment Expert Committee Autumn Expert Forum" was held in Xiamen. This forum was hosted by the Organizing Committee of Xiamen International Fair for Investment and Trade, China Trade Organization Research Association, undertook by the Secretariat of the International Investment Expert Committee, and co-organized by the Xiamen Municipal Convention and Exhibition Bureau.

The theme of this forum is "Capturing New Opportunities in Crisis, and Exploiting New Patterns in Changing Situations." The topics are divided into two sessions: "grasp the characteristics of changes in the situation and improve the competitive advantage of enterprises" and "respond to external decoupling challenges and do everything possible to stabilize foreign investment."

Professor Shunqi Ge, deputy director of the Research Center for Transnationals’ Studies of Nankai University, was invited to the conference and gave a speech in the "New Infrastructure" session.
